Welcome back to the Phat Daily Column. Sorry the PDC is late today, the University's server was temporarily down, and since my home computer is away getting repairs, I couldn't get online to make the PDC. Anyways, on to the news...WCW-Many inside sources say that Flair winning at SuperBrawl is a sure thing. But you never know with WCW anymore, you know they love having the belt around Hogan's waist! -Rumor has it that it will be Sting that will fight Bret Hart. Flair will probably announce that there will be a mystery opponent for the Hitman. That could be the time when Sting arrives! I hope, for WCW's sake. -With Harlem Heat supposively reforming, the tag scene might be finally heating up. As for Harlem Heat, Booker T does not like the idea, since he's really established himself as a singles wrestler. -Looks like the Jericho saga is continuing, since Jericho loses more and more television time lately. WCW and Jericho just don't get along anymore. For Jericho to stop having wrestlers defeat him cleanly, he must resign. That's Bischoff's idea. -Word is that Wrath is considering resigning with WCW. I have heard that he's verbally accepted a 3 year deal, but I'm not too sure it's true. We'll see on that one. WWF-The reason for WWF.com's spoiler is because the WWF was afraid that Thunder would announce the results, and therefore lose ratings during halftime of the Superbowl. Who the hell cares about 15 of ratings during SuperBowl halftime show? -I have heard many say that HBK's surgery was a hoax. Well, let me tell you it wasn't. Everyone has told me that "if he really had the surgery, then how was he able to sit up at the table with Stone Cold?" Oh my, well I had massive spinal surgery, and I could sit up, and I had surgery on my whole spine, not two vertebrates like HBK. The surgery's legit, deal with it. -The Giant, or rather Titan will show up sometime during or between Valentine's Massacre and Wrestlemania. Stone Cold's gonna feel the Choke Slam! -Mabel has been rumored to have signed a 2 year deal with the WWF. If this is true, it's not a wise move by the WWF, as back in the day when Mabel was in the WWF, he injured many wrestlers with his mess ups. Mabel always messed up moves or did them too hard, or just landed wrong on opponents. ECW-Shane Douglas and Chris Candido will square off at the next ECW PPV Living Dangerously. The question is, will one or both be in ECW to fight that match? -ECW is very pleased with the way Sid has worked in ECW. -Sabu is still furious with ECW about their weakened relationship with FMW. -I guess the television negotiations with Showtime didn't go well, ECW is still stuck on infomercials on channels that will broadcast them latenight.
