Welcome to another glorified edition of the Phat Daily Column. I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day, and if not, like if you're in the doghouse for forgetting, I hope you enjoyed Smackdown. Speaking of Smackdown, the reason this column is late is because I wasn't able to watch Smackdown until Friday afternoon. I was busy all Thursday evening, and my brother had my Smackdown tape all Friday morning. Thanks bro.

The feedback for the WCW NES game was fantastic, and I got a lot of requests about where you could find that game. You could try Ebay to buy the real thing, or download the rom somewhere and play it on an emulator. I will NOT list any rom sites in the PDC, nor will I put it on a server for you to download. I don't want any sites busted, including LoP, as those roms are actually illegal due to copyright laws.

Now, I've heard several stories about copyright laws and how they might not be in effect for NES games. However, I've seen a few NES rom sites go down recently, including the one where I got most of my wrestling roms. And no, I'm not sending files through e-mail!!! I'm sure if you sniff around, maybe ask someone on any message board where to find one, then maybe you could find those roms, especially the WCW game, which is the best NES wrestling game, period.

Onto another subject... A couple of you "internet reporterz" are annoying me, again, with your rewording or copying/pasting news without giving credit. Therefore, I'm probably going to whip up an NEW edition of the famous Bad Tito, which once I write it, I'll link it from a future PDC. In one of the news posts I did, I set a trap which MANY sites fell for. It's not that I made fake news, ohhh no! I added information to Chris Jericho and Bill Goldberg story I posted on Monday from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Meltzer wrote the part about Goldberg being apologetic, and I added the history of the heat between Goldberg and Jericho from WCW. Funny thing is that everyone copied or rewrote what I added. In the words of Dark Helmet from the movie Spaceballs: FOOOOOOLED YOU!

So look for a Bad Tito in the near future. Some would argue that every PDC has shades of Bad Tito in it. So? On to the PDC!

SMACKDOWN is TITO

Who the hell was on pyro for Smackdown? At least 3 segments or matches had the arena filled with smoke!

We get an opening interview involving McMahons... OH JOY!!! JUST WHAT I WANTED. However, I would be so forgiving if they were hyping the Pay Per View. Instead, Stephanie gets into retard mode and puts herself over for what she'll do to her future ex-husband, Triple H. And what do you know it, Steph and Vince are back together. Awwwwww. It's funny, too, because Stephanie even mentioned her hatred for Linda, despite Vince and Linda actually reuniting after the failed divorce angle between those two.

Godfather having a 2 for 1 sale? Not that I mind seeing his hos trip down to the ring, but the returning Godfather is already stale.

Our first match of the night was Spike Dudley vs. Booker T. After the backstage segment between Test and Booker, I just knew Spike would get the win. Same with when Booker pulled up Spike before the 3 count. Too predictable. Spike got the win. Whoop-dee-doo! The tag title match will be so much fun *sarcasm*, as Spike and Tazz will retain so that Chuck & Suck will win the titles at Wrestlemania. By the way, there's going to be a Tag Team Turmoil match at No Way Out, where the winner gets the shot at Wrestlemania. And Chuck & Suck are in it... how ironic?

I'm sure the right-wingers from the Parents Televison Council (PTC), the parental group who hates the WWF and even threatens their advertisers, will just love the shower comment and the other nasty stuff by Chuck & Suck. Hell, in this case, I wouldn't mind if the PTC nailed the WWF to the wall for that. I'm sure the PTC won't take kindly the scene with Val Venis, either, where he said "Heart On" and had a crowd member take off her shirt. The WWF horse should know better than to attract gnats.

I just can't take it... Chuck & Suck beat the APA in a short, yet stupid, tag team match. You can't avoid it. Chuck and Billy had new theme, too, which shows that they are continuing their push to the top. It's just too bad, folks. A weight in the chocolates? Now that was stupid.

What? What? What? What? What? WHAT is it that the WWF feels they must waste the television viewer's time with something the live WWF crowds have fun it?

Next, it was Val Venis versus William Regal; booked for no apparent reason. Another short one for Regal, and he won with the usual Brass Knuckles. This gimmick has been soooo overdone. After the match, Edge attacked Regal, hyping their No Way Out match. Let's hope Edge wins back the title.

Next match was Goldust vs. Tajiri. Tajiri is a jobber now? Why on God's green Earth is Torrie Wilson even with the Japanese Buzzsaw? I guess she's with him so that they can preserve or protect her from any bodily harm, but still. Tajiri isn't doing much now. Is he even Cruiserweight champion anymore?

Chris Jericho took on Kane next. *YAWN* Kane was a threat years ago, but now his character seems to one dimensional. Guess what Jericho used to disqualify himself in the match? You guessed it.. a title belt!! Austin would come down, afterward, and give Jericho a Stunner, thus proving who will win the match at No Way Out (Jericho). I still don't see Austin working well with Kevin Nash or Scott Hall to have a good match at Wrestlemania.

And to the NWO.... better attention paid to them tonight, as Vince wanted Flair to be healthy to see what they do to the sport, the History video was vandalized with NWO stuff, and Vince spoke with Hogan on the phone. Still, the damage from ignoring Pay Per View storylines on RAW was devastating, especially to the NWO's debut at No Way Out.

Final match was Triple H/Maven vs. Kurt Angle/Undertaker. Not a bad tag match, with standard 1980's "face in peril" match format going on here. Maven took a beating for a while, and at the same time, looked quite good when he did get some offense in. There's something about Maven.... Seriously, through an embarrassing way to get into the WWF, the WWF might have found a gem when they voted Maven as the winner for the men. The WWF must apparently see something, too, or he wouldn't be Main Eventing Smackdown, nor would he get to look good over the Undertaker. DQ finish..... 2 consecutive DQs in a row to finish out the show.

LAST WORD: Yuck! What a miserable show before the Pay Per View! Matches were either short or repetitive in nature, and the sports entertainment was junk. We'll go

D-

(D Minus) since I gave RAW a "D", and RAW was better in my opinion. Let's hope No Way Out follows its trend on being good, since the last 2 years provided us with great Pay Per Views.

@That's all for today. I'll be back sometime this weekend with my No Way Out predictions, and who knows, maybe something else. Until then, why not chill?

Take Care, and Thanks for Reading.
