-Ah yes, Sunday Night Heat. I've been waiting all week for this. Stevie Richards, whom I mark out for, made his intro by giving a Steviekick to Al Snow after Al Snow attacked 'Da Blue Guy' after the match. I'm wondering what is going to happen with Stevie, since he was called 'Big Stevie Cool' in the back. I'm wonder if the WWF has a back up plan if the rumor comes true with the New World Order possibly coming back to bring in the 'Blue World Order' which Stevie and Blue Meanie were a part of. It should be interesting. It's a shame however, that Stevie and Meanie are feuding with Al Snow, who is the king of Shotgun and Heat.
-Well, RAW is WAR is upon us. It's taped, and remember this column is SPOILER FREE. What to expect on RAW? Well, expect more heat with Chyna as the #1 contender for the World Title at Summerslam. It's very interesting what happens with that. Also, with Chris Jericho making one of the biggest entrances in history, it will be interesting to see if he shows up again for another! Look for many angles to continue the road to Summerslam!
-I think it's rather interesting with all of the rumors of Austin being a prick about booking and having a few backstage disputes. Well, don't believe it until it's true. But even if Austin was like that, would the WWF punish him? Hell NO! Even with all the superstars around in the WWF, Austin is STILL a huge draw in the WWF. He's easily the most recognizable star in the WWF, so no punishment or anything will happen to him. It's like when a major sports star of a team gets in trouble. Is he benched for it? I don't think so.
-It should be interesting what happens with Nitro tonight. I hope that the NWO does NOT form. If it forms yet again, expect a nice bashing in the Monday Night Impressions. It was the best angle in the history of wrestling when it happened the first time, but when they reformed it for the second go around, it was horrible. A third time, especially after Hulkamania is getting good crowd reactions, would be a drastic mistake. I hear weak rumors that Eric Bischoff will reform the NWO, re-instate Nash instantly, and Scott Hall will return to make it like another 'Hostile Takeover'. I don't know if that would happen, since crybaby Kevin Nash wants time off, and being 'retired' allows him to do so, and then he'll come back somehow. I'm really wondering what will transpire with Sid. Since Sting put him over by jobbing, Sid should be continuing somekind of monster push. I expect a fallout with Sid sometime, because he can never stick to something.
-Interesting with Flair situation. Some say he has been released from WCW, following missing out this Nitro where he would have done a program with Shane Douglas. He claims his back, which is actually sore from arthritis, kept him out. Also, Micasa reported that David Flair only lost because daddy wasn't at Nitro. That's a shame, cause I thought Benoit finally earned the title. According to Micasa, if he's released from WCW, he won't be able to wrestle elsewhere until early 2001. The Nature Boy's days might finally be up.
-I love the rumors about Eric Bischoff's job possibly in trouble. He's the lamest excuse for a wrestling organization president I've ever seen. Everyone thinks he's all that and a bag of chips just because he had WCW in the ratings. Well, put me in his position to spend Time Warner and Ted Turner's money, and I would be successful too! He has no order backstage, as his wrestlers order him around and tell him how the WCW shows should be run. I hope he gets the axe!
